We had a surprise Decathlon very early in 2021. The past three decathlons have all been in Florida and very close to one another only a month or two apart. This has really allowed me to get comfortable with doing all ten events which has allowed me to improve my score. This last decathlon was at IMG Academy which is a very prestigious athletics school where kids from around the world go to improve their sport. It goes without saying that there facilities were some of the nicest in the country and it made the event extremely fun. Unfortunately after the first day I had crippling shin pain that made just finishing the Decathlon difficult. Either way the whole experience was worth it and I am even more inspired to do better at the next one.
