Kayaking in the Keys

The fam decided to head down to the keys for the weekend and they pulled me along with them. We went to a really cool wildlife sanctuary about thirty minutes from our condo that had some great kayaking and cool mangroves that you could hang out under.

Christmas Scooters!

Grammy got all of the cousins Electric Razors for Christmas. We had a blast riding them around the driveway and they were much easier to ride than the Ripstick I got last year. My parents wouldn’t let me ride it without a helmet through which kind of sucked.

Washington D.C. !

Had an awesome time at our nation’s capital. We got to see all the monuments in Washington and got a chance to see the Smithsonian. The one thing I didn’t like was all the walking, we definitely walked at least six miles per day. Before we left we got to see the Washington Nationals play!

Fourth of July in Marathon

This year for the fourth of July we drove down to the keys. We own a condo down there on marathon island and my friend Carsten has a boat down there that we could drive around. We went to this awesome beach that does a firework show every year.

Straight of Juan de Fuca

This was our last day in Washington but was probably the best day. The straight that we went to was still in Washington and had some amazing rock formations that I couldn’t help but stare at. My crazy uncle also went snorkeling in freezing cold water with a double thickness wet suit.

Hoh Rain Forest

During our last day in Olympic national park, we visited the Hoh rain forest and the did a two-hour long hike through the forest. The trees looked like something out of Avatar.
