I spent about two hours today assembling the rest of the linear actuators. I obviously couldn’t attach stepper motors because I am still trying to find ones that will work well but I was able to get it all mechanically sound. I also still need a few rods for the z-axis but those can wait until the next time I work on it. The entire thing is pretty solid I’m not too worried about the rigidity maybe just on the z-axis which does give a little bit. I can’t wait to get these high-resolution stepper motors in and throw them on there because given how easy it was to get the first actuator moving Slidemap should be moving within an hour once I have the motors.
